What’s happening?

Rev. Fr. Elino Comanda, OSJ will be returning to the Philippines and will leave his assignments in Mount Barker and Denmark.
Rev. Fr. Joeffrey Arceta, OSJ will be the new parish priest of Mount Barker and Denmark.
These changes will take effect on March 15, 2023.

As Oblates of St. Joseph, we give importance to our ongoing formation. This is to help us live
better our consecration and ordination. Moreover, availability is a part of our identity.

For that reason, we heed God’s call and invitation with happiness and eagerness. As the
Provincial Superior, it is my duty and responsibility to see to it that my confreres have
enough opportunities for growth as a person and as a religious priest. It is also my duty to make
sure that our pastoral responsibilities are fulfilled. Thus, I have made the above
decisions.
